The Circolo app, derived from Circolo Mirror, serves as a supplementary tool to assist users in:
- Starting workouts anytime, anywhere.
- Managing and creating workout routines.
- Checking workout data.
- Viewing workout updates and schedules.
The Circolo app progressed through three discernible phases, during which I was actively engaged in two of them: Pre-launch and growth.
The landing page provides users with the ability to monitor their exercise duration, access their current workout plan for the day, and view pending tasks. By clicking on the calendar icon, users can navigate to a page where they can review their workout plans for various dates. Additionally, users have the option to browse through recently uploaded videos from the individuals or workout groups they are connected with (circles), and even design their personalized workout.
The term "circle" refers to connections with trainers or workout groups. There are three circle types: Fitness for workout content, Music for workout music playlists, and Platform for partner posts/events. Users can create a new circle using the "add" button. Clicking a circle leads to its profile page, displaying workout plans and schedules.
The "Me" page includes all the necessary components for users to manage their workouts, files, plans, and settings. What's crucial is that it also serves as a direct access point to the user profile, facilitating efficient monitoring of workout data and history.
I've conceptualized the flows and wireframes for several other pages, such as partner mode, messaging, nutrition plans, and a first-time user tutorial. Unfortunately, we haven't had the opportunity to develop them yet. I'd be glad to discuss the narratives and my approach for these pages during our conversation.
